Riverside Mayor Elect Rusty Bailey
welcomed the delegation from India
and noted that the City of Riverside
enjoys a sister city relationship with
Hyderabad in southern India.
Successful, Indian born, Riverside County businessman
Nachhattar Chandi was introduced to the delegation.

Building friendships and partnerships
are essential in what will be our ‘new
economy,’ and India will play a key
role in creating that new economy,”
Bailey said. “This reception honoring
our government partnerships, military
alliances of many years and business
relationships is important to both
countries and the people we serve.”
Bailey said the city, like the county, is
eager to work with officials from India.

Hopefully, our exchange of information,
insights, and innovations will prove
mutually beneficial,” Bailey said.
