Kenyan Ambassador Visits
Riverside, CA. Kenyan Ambassador, Dr.
Wenwa Oranga and County Supervisors
John J. Benoit & Marion V. Ashley met
to talk bilateral trade. Both Supervisors
have visited Kenya and Riverside
County businessman Kevin Ashley has
a thriving business in the country. The
parties discussed further trade and
investment opportunities and laid the
ground work for a formal bilateral trade
agreement and future presidential visit
to the County of Riverside. Also joining
the meeting was CAI CEO KusumKavia
who is a native of the country and a
successful business owner in the City
of Corona. This country already buys 6
percent of its imported products from
the USA and we have an opportunity
to provide many products made or
grown in our county by establishing
formal partnerships with them.
