In March of 2008, the RDA provided $9,243,334 in RDA funds for the development and construction of Mission Village Senior Apartments, a 102-unit affordable senior apartment complex in the unincorporated community of Glen Avon. The project includes 90 one-bedroom units, 11 two-bedroom units, and 1 two-bedroom unit set-aside for an on-site manager. The total development cost for the project was $20,418,457. A total of 90 RDA-assisted units are reserved for low- and very low-income senior households. Construction was completed in May 2010 and th eproject shall remain for 56 years.
