Shelter the Homeless

The Emergency Shelter Grant Program (ESG) provides assistance for essential services and operations of emergency and transitional homeless shelters.

The Continuum of Care Homeless Assistance Program is administered by the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) and provides assistance to non-profit homeless sponsors to develop transitional and permanent housing or provide supportive services to homeless persons.
